Q:
Where do you put the name on a clock when you want it personalized?
A: We personalize
the clocks on the base between the 8 and the 4 in a calligraphy script.
Primary clocks are done in royal blue and pastels are done in light blue
or pink. And it's free!
Q:
Are the clocks noisy?
A: We use quartz accuracy
movements on all of our clocks. They are not designed to tick or be heard.
However, if you are in a completely quiet room and put your ear up to
the clock you may be able to hear a tick.
Q:
Are any of your clocks available in different skin tones? We would like
the baseball player to look African American.
A: Any of our clocks that
have a face can be done in any skin tone at no extra charge. You'll see
a special instruction box when you place your order. This is where you
would specify a change in skin tone. Do not check the customize box.
Q: If I see a
clock in pastel can I get it in primary?
A: Yes, for instance
if you see the elephant in pastels you can order it in primary at no extra
charge.
Q: The second
hand on my clock is stuck and just pulsates but the pendulum is still
swinging. What do I do?
A: A pulsating second
hand is a sign of a weak battery even though the pendulum is still swinging.
First check your battery for power. Make sure you insert it plus side
down. If it still doesn't work pull the second hand straight up and off.
You can pry it off with your fingers under the hand. Then place it back
on gently but firmly.
Q: The hour hand
just hangs loose on my clock. What happened?
A: It came off the
core of the clock. Evenly push the hour hand back over the white plastic
core of the clock to the base. Move all the hands to 12 and press the
hour hand down again. Use the dial in the back to set the time. If you
move the hands manually the hour hand will spiral off the core.
Q: What if my
clock doesn't keep good time?
A: The quartz accuracy
movements are guaranteed. If you're sure it's not working you can return
the clock to us and we will replace it immediately.
Q: We just moved
and now we can't find the pendulum to our clock. Can we get another?
A: All parts and
pieces to our clocks are replaceable. Just give us a call and for a nominal
fee we can replace any top or pendulum for you.
Q: How long is
your clock guaranteed?
A: We have no limit
to our guarantee. We have fixed clocks that were 10 years old. Just give
us a call and if it's something you can't fix with our instructions you
can send it to us and we'll make it look and work like new.
